I see one analyst now suggesting this may result in M&A activity by Anvil - could it be that SBS is about to be swallowed? - it makes sense as there's absolutely no sense in AVM remaining a 20% shareholder - it's surely all or nothing. Surely some diversification away from the DRC is the go. And the Annual Report did suggest acquisition and alliance activities in the DRC and on the African continent as a 2008 Objective.
I'm not currently an SBS holder but there might be a quick profit to be made here.
