It appears the re-rate for WZR is set to continue this week & it should be a cracking week as the PR machine should again crank in to overdrive as Wisr is nominated for 4 awards at the Australian Banking Innovation Awards & it is competing against the heavyweights of the sector. This week, WZR opens with a mkt cap of over $100m for the first time in its history which IMO will put it in the 'investable universe' of small cap / micro cap funds who previously were unable to participate in the story given their cap was under 100m.
We saw Regal last week taking a substantial shareholder position & it would not surprise me to see others join over the coming period as these guys typically hunt in packs.
Just like a spectacular re-rate was observed with Z1P & SPT when they went multi-bag over a short number of weeks (SPT being 10x in 6 weeks); I feel that WZR is at the beginning of this type of run / re-rate.
Remember this stock is actually very tightly held with something like 78% in the top-20; so any meaningful positions will not be easy to accumulate.
