Their best option would be the coal mining with 2bt of the stuff close to surface and with the amount of demand coming out of China, India and the rest of Asia, they can't go wrong.
With all the mine depletion going on in China and the US and countries holding onto their reserves for energy security - it is hard not to be bullish on EER. China is also looking to add 500GW of coal-fired power by as early as 2015 - That's an additional 1.35btpa coal they will need by 2015.
When it comes to coal I personally don't think we have seen anything yet (in terms of demand) - a lot more consumption to come, India still in a coal deficit.
