Seems as though 3d may be more succesful in some areas than others....dont really know it well enough to know why.
From what I have read though Bass strait has had very good success rates of 2 in 3 wells being winners.
I have seen success rates from 35% onwards...most seem to be around 50% though...and as high as 70%+

50% will do me cause NXS has 2 wells and I personally think that Longtom is well above 50%...in fact it should be 100%...we just dont know the flow rates.

Anyway...seems a few are getting cold feet...if you cant handle the risk then sell.
Nobody will know yet if longtom is good or bad...its just traders repositioning themselves.
And grayling isnt for a few weeks anyway.

Either one or 2 wells will fail or they may both be succesful.
If they fail then those who are selling now will be happy and may have saved up to half their money short term and can say told you so.
If they are succesful then those who sold will be unhappy when they see they could have made 400%+.
