Hi everyone, the reasons relayed by PHE in regards to the Tibotec deal falling thru given by JC seem a little far fetched. The Tibotec deal given current market volatility and stage of development should have only created positive market sentiment with very little SP movement due to the fact that ATC is the main value driver and realistically only reason why investors up to this point have put money into Avexa, apart from the developing team i.e. Chief Scientific Officer.
For JC to say Tibotec remain interested however they do not have the funds to proceed is dribble. Tibotec which is a fully owned company of J&J which is a multi billion dollar pharmaceutical company have no money, thats ludicrous. I believe in ATC like anyone invested in it however something went wrong during these negotiations/ finalities for integrase that we are not privy to.
Please keep in mind everyone once again Integrase was not going to make anyone here enough money to cover their wishlists, definately not within the next couple fo years (if it were to get thru trials). Looking forward to the 24 week data because I suspect something is building in terms of an announcement, there are a number of big pharma which are in a position where they need ATC to maintain market share due to a number of different reasons.
