I suggest that you go and look for another stock to invest in. BPT's story is obviously too complex for you to understand. From what I have read, I don't think you get the oil and gas sector and as Warren Buffet suggests - don't speculate in something that you don't understand. You will get burnt.
If you can't be bothered doing your own research and looking up an announcement where you already know what quarter it is in I suggest that you go and deposit your hard earned in a good safe bank deposit.
By the way it was a resource booking, not a reserves booking (I think NAB a paying quite a good deposit rate at the moment).
