That is an all too familiar 'funny story' ravingstark.. In my case I don't need a MC to prompt me..I just have an incredible knack for selling the one stock in my portfolio which is about to go up..at times this has happened within moments..ie trading halt announced on Rinker the very day afternoon I finally capitulated and sold about 80k's worth having sweated on it for months thinking its going to go , its going to go- booked a 10% loss only to watch it go up 35% on the monday.. Some might call it divine retribution for watching the pot too much- others might call it - sh*t happens.
The only way to avoid this I have decided is to never ever sell anything which in a bear market can have its own painfull machinations..but works well if your original decision proves right.
