One thing that I don't mind admitting that I don't understand is; if there are so many more buyers than sellers, why does the price move down, instead of going up and up and up, or even remaining steady?

I note that there was a high of $3.12 earlier, but has now been beaten down to $3.08. With demand outstripping supply, I don't understand the price even thinking about dropping.
