I thought Australians might have learnt
something from the GFC but apparently not. I
can remember the early 2000s and which
bank running adverts to borrow back any equity in
your house. Margin lending was through the roof
and people were using leverage on leverage.
Interest rates will only need to run a couple of
percent higher and some people will be cooked.
