At least one of the PXG directors was involved in ALB, a failed Ni miner in Africa, where they mined a low grade deposit. A lot of the gold resource PXG has is as a result of re-interpretation of old data, so perhaps the market is sceptical about what they really have there.
That is a good idea of yours to mine the shallow stuff and pick up a nice windfall which can be used to fund other mining areas. AAR did that successfully a few years ago and picked up $10-15m in profits. However, that was about the last successful thing they did - the money has just about gone on exploration.

My thinking is that the markets are going down for a while and SLR will stagnate until we get closer to completion of the next stage of the mill upgrade later in September.
