Without hijacking the thread on the "who pays for it" i.e tax..

I totally agree that any "carbon tax" is actually a thinly disguised way for Governments of the world to get their grubby little hands on the middle and lower income earners income..

Thus, I am all for private enterprise, MNC's and sovereign state funds to invest in to this to drive it forward..

Then if it proves it ROI, its a win win.. but of course.. there is always going to be winners and losers..
