100m t or 3b t actually no much difference. 5500 THERMAL COAL IS CFR$70 now, 4000kcal could be just CFR $47 or FOB $35/t . Most of the coal miners start to lose money now. Producing more and will lose more. What a terrible time for Aus coal industry! BHP just laid off many workers.
Hopefully the sector could recover a little bit.
