There are plenty of stocks listed trading at a price well below NTA. There are plenty of stocks listd trading at below their cash holdings. I just sold out of AAH Arana which had far greater than cash in the bank than the sharepric was valued at...until someone else just realised that too and made a take over bid, hence getting all the royalty income plus IP for free. Also GWR Golden West Resources which I have a decent holding in, same boat.
These businesses all have massive potential outside of someone selling down all the assets and returning cash to shareholders....hence a shareholding in them, means you get some quality assets for free, after payout of cash. What do you get from EFG after payback of cash???? Nothing!!
