As part of the September 2023 rights issue at 2.5c, subscribers received free 3.75c three-year expiry call options, one option for each two shares subscribed. These options are unlisted.
The options have recently acquired an intrinsic value, touch wood.
ACW haven't requested the share registry, Automic, to send out option holding statements, so Automic haven't sent them.
You can have an options holding statement snail-mailed to you by requesting it from Automic. For security reasons, the holding statements cannot be emailed.
The options have a SRN number, which isn't the same as your CHESS HIN. After you receive the holding statement, you can see your SRN number. To make the options appear on your Automic portfolio page, you need to click on "Add Holding" and enter the SRN. After you do this, it takes about one working day for the options to appear.
Because the options are unlisted, they can't be transferred to your CHESS HIN. If you eventually exercise the options, and there's no hurry, the shareholding created can then be transferred to your HIN by asking your stockbroker. If your stockbroker is CommSec, the share transfer request is an online transaction under the Settings menu. It takes two working days for CommSec and the share registry to process the transfer.
