Results from the new Victory prospect are encouraging with anomalous uranium identified in several of the surface rock chip and soil samples collected in July and August (reported on 6 September 2010). Maximum uranium assay was 412 ppm for a ?grab? sample from 30-35 cm depth in the bottom of a shallow pit. This sample was from an area which ground spectrometer surveying had indicated to be strongly anomalous in uranium. The sampled material was an intensely weathered, kaolinised, fine-grained rock. It also assayed 3.92 % total rare earth elements (+ Yttrium) (?TREE+Y?). The extent and thickness of this mineralised material are not known.
