Perhaps more pertinently, GDX up 5.09% (intraday was up more than 8% at one stage). Surely that can only be a good sign for today's trading.
Given the way SBM and other gold miners have traded in this recent crash, however, who knows? I've got my finger on the buy trigger to try to recapture some of my earlier losses (was stopped out last week after days of progressively lowering my stop ...), but still in a superposition of fear/greed and not sure which is on top ...
