Guys, I think that everyone is missing a key point here - the biggest thing that drives any mine is grade. Looking at the letter from the amigos - I can't go past this jump in grade from 7.5g/t to 12.4g/t (which includes 10% dilution at zero). Did someone wave a magic wand and suddenly trasform Halleys into what would pretty much be the highest grade mine in WA (besides Ramelius Wattle Dam!!)? Grade is king and I'm sorry but I just don't get it - the other grades from BCN and Ramelius are based on JORC resources - this is almost double the grade for more ounces. Whats the basis for this, and if it is not kosher, then everything else after it is rubbish. I'm sure every miner in WA wishes they could double their grades (without stating how). This has to be the number one question for the three amigos, and if their proposal is to be taken seriously there has to be a good reason.
