FIRST TENEMENTS GRANTED
AT
LIGHTJACK HILL COAL PROJECT,
CANNING BASIN, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
TPL Corporation Ltd (TPL) is pleased to announce the grant of three contiguous, coal
prospective Exploration Licences (EL04/1975, 1986 & 1988) covering 724km2 within the
Northwest portion of the Canning Basin (see Figure 1). The grant of these three exploration
licences represents TPLs first granted coal tenure in its 100% owned Lightjack Hill Coal
Project within the Canning Basin, Western Australia.
Summary of Granted Tenure
�� Over 100 km of strike of the coal prospective Lightjack Formation comprising outcrop
and areas under shallow surficial cover
�� Approximately 30 km along strike from historical drill holes with coal seam intercepts
�� Highly prospective ground containing the main known host sequences for coal
measures within the Fitzroy Graben, Canning Basin
�� Lies within the Fitzroy River Valley where erosional regime offers good exposure to
potential coal bearing sediments
�� Good access via an extensive network of station & community roads
The grant of our first tenements within the highly prospective Lightjack Hill Coal Project
represents a significant milestone for TPL commented Mark Gunther, Managing Director.
TPL will commence on ground exploration activities later this month, and work on obtaining
required approvals and clearances before commencing a maiden coal drilling programme.
