@Compounding All the small posters on say YouTube will have trouble coming up with even a small license fee when many will not want payment for viewing- others will.
With the shift in copywrite laws Google and others are not ditching pirating sites by choice but rather it's to prevent being sued.
I foresee that companies like YouTube creating an APP or similar allowing small creators a simple means of quickly registering their and others interest using Linius to track their copywrite and distribution of using smart contracts payments including YouTube share for posting the fee paying videos. I imagine those who do not want a viewing fee would post for free after completing the smart contract registration.
In this way YouTube and others are going to be paid for something that they provided for free previously and they will be able to direct hyper-personalised adverting at the same time collecting fees along the way as well as keeping track of copywrite ownership.
Linius will also share in those fees and the volume will be large.
I can imagine this scenario will roll out rapidly as it's a perfect fit for all parties.
