When Laura McBain sold her shares in BAL, they said she used the funds to buy a new spa. Everyone laughed about it, thought nothing bad is happening. Well, we all know what happens after that.
Warren Buffett famously said investing is like running a business. If business is good and expected to grow, would you exit the business? If business is expecting some minor hipcups which are likely to be resolved in the future, would you exit the business? If business is expected to go south, would you exit the business?
Food for thought. The shorters will be watching this one pretty closely. Expect a bumpy ride.
