So really they are selling to bring the market down and when it reaches their low given the help of nervous investors dumping also they then buy in big and pump the share.

But they are only buying back what they sold, I understand the technique, and if it runs that little bit more because buyers think it is a run they immediately sell on small profit and then repeat the process.

is that how they work, I don't really know. but if you look at trading volumes enough over the years it seems to be like that.
