Markus Padley lost money on Pasminco & so did I . But I was tenacious , I wanted to know what happened & I kept ringing the companies shareholder liason officer . I was finally told that a woman (who apparently didn't really understand options) wrote options over future production , in exactly the wrong direction & that this is what financially crippled Pasminco . But this knowledge didn't help me as it came well after I had taken the loss. Some consolation . But had this been known at the time , it may have led to a legal action over management incompetent supervision . But class actions weren't around then . It morphed into Zinefix didn't it ?
