Where do the 3 ex-NAT independents stand on the MRRT? I assume they are against it.
So, if they are 100% in favour of the NBN but 100% against the MRRT, who do they support?
In my opinion, it is unlikely that the Coalition leadership will change their minds and support the NBN rollout but the ALP might comprromise by agreeing to scrap or further water-down the MRRT.
Whatever happens, the major parties will most likely have to compromise significantly to strike a deal with the independents. Interesting times ahead!
