Sadly there is no or very little market in Australia for CFU. The Victorians still believe they can make the dirtiest of all coals, brown coal, into clean coal using technology that still doesn't work commercially and probably will never work. CFU are in a similar situation to Carbon energy, a company developing underground coal gasification in QLD. Absolute cutting edge technology, progressive thinking ideas, still with some problems to be sorted out but no place for it in Australia. Unfortunately these ideas have to be taken overseas to countries with slightly longer term vision than what can be offered here. I hope that doesn't sound harsh because I really love Australia but some decisions here are just stupid.
