Hey Geo, Not true.....I had a $1 party for Lynas just this week. The old lady from next door 2 of my mates, my other half and the guy who mows the lawn all had cheese and jatz and a couple of Bacardi Cruisers :-)
Dobbsy, good on you. it's important to know the basics imo, the more you know the better. For the very basics, try some of the online tutorials at ASX and also on Ivestopedia. Also there is a great pdf called Master the Markets which explains how the professionals work the market. Google it, it's free.
