Once ZIP reaches critical mass they all have to be able to interact - if a ZIP customer bowls up and wants to use ZIP for a purchase but the merchant's Stripe terminal does not work with ZIP, then the merchant loses the sale and Stripe loses skin.
It's important that it is able to be used everywhere, not so much that it is going to suddenly have everyone wanting to get a stripe terminal or even a ZIP facility
