BNPL is gaining momentum and people need access to credit. The ability to pay in four not only improves checkout conversion rates, it allows the consumers to spread payments over pay cycles. I think zip charging a merchant fee will be adopted by all BNPL providers in future, this will benefit zip as level out the playing field.
Is the service going anywhere - no. Growth is in the double digits and should continue as usage rates rise - unless people stop shopping, not going to happen.
