Bedge asked me and others not to be tagged or mentioned on ZIP because of the trolling he gets from the usual suspects on other threads, so I will respect that, he deserves to be allowed to freely contribute to HC without being targeted . But even though my decisions are my own, his insights and commentary really shaped my approach, so I owe him a lot.
Obviously my original investment thesis in ZIP has turned out even better than I imagined. It’s no longer just a turnaround story—it’s turned around and rocketed off. Given how well ZIP doing, and applying the Kelly Criterion, it seems wise to take some money off the table. It’s natural to undervalue (and hence risk) a dollar of profit compared to a dollar of capital, but logically, they should be treated with the same focus. However, my choice and I don't have any stock that stands out other than OPT which I not going to go above my current capital allocation given it is a high risk/ high reward play.
