Rig... a blight on the seacape ...the same before and after. Maybe less coal ships at Newcastle Save the Whales.... all infrastructure laying on the sea floor. ...no cables required, unlike wind turbines A new fossil project... domestic and industrial users will still need to use gas for the foreseeable future. NSW needs gas now... a choice between close available gas or more expensive faraway gas. New technology impact... with the conversion of gas to hydrogen leaving solid black carbon for industrial use. Carbon.capture and storage... the additional benefit of doing an exploratory drill Competition.... many small nuclear power stations are worth a look but gas infrastructure on the east coast already exists.
....I could go on. Political opinion in Australia has been manipulated by the hierarchical power order. ...with the PM on top. What's the point in having NOPTA ...if the Minister can ignore them. ..and what's the point of having Ministers if the PM can just ignore them. The problem for both leaders at the upcoming general election is that we of PEP11 are not going away.
I move around the country, and come upon people who come from Newcastle.... and NOT one has heard about PEP11.. !!!!!
