Once the cashflow report is released on Tuesday, then the financials on 23 August, the full horror of being in the consumer finance business will be more clear. Other finance businesses operate at profit but the whole industry is cactus for the foreseeable future. ZIP has put away a clever, very modest CR, very quickly but will be doing it again quite soon IMO. Soaked up the very willing institutions who will sell to retail and threw retail a bone getting them to pay the costs of the raise. Very droll ZIP you are no doubt laughing your heads off. Another $150 mil next time.
