ZIP raised $217 mil (before costs) via a placement and did not have any problem raising the funds.
The costs? $50 mil, raised from shareholders, also without a problem, oversubscribed. $267 mil from a raise, plus $20 mil from cashflow, plus interest to date, totalling almost $300 mil, for a $150 mil loan for 6 months and left in a vulnerable position with a cash deficiency, before the cashflow report due tomorrow and before the FY24 results on 23 August.
Shaken down by the lenders, dressed up for a takeover or another capital raise to alleviate a looming cash deficiency?? Something is brewing and it won't be long
