Forgive me if this comes off harsh, but I do not believe AGS will ever get a fair price, as it would simple not be economic for Quasar to offer 600-1000 million in this credit crisis - why spend anything when they will ultimately be limited by how much they can get out of the ground. It would make more sense for them to just continue as is and develop the site with there 75% interest.
As they are a private company and i believe would like to stay that way, no share offer is on the table.
So unless AGS are going to sell the U deposit at a bargain to potential future earning, I see no quick buck here. Long term holders should be rewarded nicely.
Perhaps the only alternative would be several cash payments over several years. 250 million first year, 250 second year etc...
