Hi Folks
I'm guessing the snakes have a high iron content ;)
A few questions if you have the time Alistair or Tony....or anybody here who has the experience.
It sounds like Irvine is 'relatively' low in biodiversity?? Or is that just an uninformed/naive opinion on my behalf?
In the 60 odd years mining has taken place on surrounding islands, it sounds like flora/fauna is similar or even identical...
I am not a scientist however I do realise that the smallest creature/plant can stall proceedings...
In the companies research findings to date from other islands what were the differences (if any)?...and what islands (if any) were in fact identical?
Is there a provision for mining on the island based on or around 'some' of the findings on other islands?
and...what flora/fauna to date has PLV/associates/scientists located that appear to be specific to, or endemic to Irvine?
Thanks
