Court ordered compensation of $30 million paid to 440 rioters who burned down the Palm Island police station as the police serving this community were barricaded inside the station fearing for their lives. That's $67000 tax free for each Palm Island rioter. The court found that Queensland police who pursued these rioters were guilty of racism! Yep the Queensland justice system is administered by dills!!!! God help Australia!! Note: The police officers traumatised by this attempt to burn them alive in their work place have received- wait for it - ZERO compensation. Go figure.
