Try selling that to the growth is good big business and property vested interests that set the agenda in this country.We should aim for a stable population.That is, account for births and deaths,then emigration and augment the difference with immigation so our population is constant.There are many advanced countries that have this population dynamic with successful and vibrant economies and societies.There are even countries with negative population growth rates that have better long term sustainable societies than ours.
