Having sat up to listen to Powell's speech the one comment regarding interest rate rises that saw US markets spike immediately was:
"we are close to the end of the cycle"
That is doing the rounds in a few places now, see if we can hold onto gains into the close. However, that certainly put a fire under markets until now anyway hehehe.
