Bear in mind that it is part of MnM's job description to be positive in her announcements.
I think it is also worth noting from the exerpt you printed that she does not say that commercial deal discussions are in progress - but they will be dependent on successful trial results.
Some have jumped the gun I think in suggesting they are already happening despite results not being finalised. She needs to have something solid to present to prospective suitors.
