I started trading shares in mid 1980s. Lost about $40K in 1987 crash, about 3/4 of a house price then. When I was young, I was sort of a trail blazer trying out new things like www server and browser. I think I was about one of the first few hundred people in the world to use internet with beta version in 1992. I also cofounded hotcopper in 1994 with 10 other people. I know a bit about JCSMR as I stayed in ANU colleges for 3 years as a academic in another institution. I had accounts with different brokers. One broker put me onto Biotron. I got shares allocated in 17/1/2001 and then listed on ASX on 24/2/2001. Now I am a very quiet life, not even a mobile phone or any social media account. Good luck to you.
