Can you expand on what are the potential alternative options?

Funds will be required, and I doubt anyone can substantiate claims that these are guaranteed from a third party. Final results are not in - and the timing for these is unknown. Until they are out, BIT does not have much of a bargaining chip. Also, preliminary results (that were supposed to be out in Sept 23), are not definitive enough to warrant a "cure" claim and even BIT just stated they were just "promising".

I am sincerely interested in why you think there would be any reason for a CR to not be the primary option as a source of funding as the current situation stands.
