Someone spent all that time writing up a long-winded (pardon the pun) analysis based on comparative capex of wind and coal and failed to mention opex and decommissioning costs even once. Let alone environmental costs and holistic footprints.
Naturally there is still a sizeable place for baseload coal in our energy needs, but it would seem a bit silly to discard the rapidly advancing benefits of wind due to some flawed analysis by a grumpy old man.
