Thanks but I'm not commenting for thumbs . As you would've have seen , the thumbs can have a strange agenda . I'm more of the view that if you disagree with a post you should comment as to why rather than anonymously thumb it down .
Anyway , I'm a bit of a technology/efficiency nerd ( hence my interest in renewables ) so that's why I participate in the conversation . I have no particular leaning either way although I suppose in the longer term as the technology improves , renewables makes sense to me .
That doesn't mean that I want to see cfps switched off tomorrow .That would be just ridiculous . Actually , with regard to coal and oil , rather than simply burn them , I would much rather see them continue to be used for their chemical properties where we can recycle them several times over . It's a vast cheap resource , I'd just like to see it used better .
