Look I don't know if this is worth asking, but it's something that I'd ask if I was there.

6th Feb 23 it was announced that Drs. Wilbert van den Hoek resigned, and that the company will undertake a search for a USA based Chairman.The board appointed David McAuliffe as interim Executive Chairman.
18th Sep 23 (with the announcement of Megabit success) we were advised that David McAuliffe has moved to Executive Chairman.
Does the company believe it no longer requires a USA based chairman? (whether temporarily or until acquisition)
In what capacity does DM fill the exec chairman role that was previously deemed more suitable with a USA based chairman?

This was just slid into the positive ann with megabit success. I didn't take too much notice of it at first, given the celebration of technical success. Some have speculated that this could be a sign that acquisition is close, but now it's left me wondering if it's a case of not having found anyone suitable -or- those that were asked turned it down. I would think as SH we deserve some insight into the reasoning for this.
