sorry, how many acquisitions have you been involved with? cos I've personally had stock in 2, and both times the price that the acquirer pays is based on the stock price + a percentage to buy the votes from shareholders.
DM has previously publicly lamented confusion on why the stock price is so low. yet he still refuses to state ANY metric relating to the thing that literally makes this product unique.
your argument that the share price is decoupled from "value" is nonsensical (and condescending), and the product is entirely without ANY value until a retention metric is demonstrated and ideally characterized across the speed/retention trade off curve. then and ONLY then will anyone want to acquire it..... is this investment or religion?
