I m not worried at all, I bought more today.
I don't see the correlation between Target in US and Bunnings, Kmart and Target in Australia. Target in US sells all kinds of discretionary goods but items in WES retail are mostly clothes, bed, and laundry items. Also our inflation is not as bad as US.
it's possible that the entire market will start trading at lower P/E ratios for each sector but in terms of actual earnings and revenue, i m very strongly convinced that Bunnings Kmart and Target will not post lower numbers than last reporting season.
lockdowns are over, construction is still booming and more travelers/immigrants have been arriving.
I work in construction building houses and I can tell you I m still begging my tradies to please come to my job.. they are all still so busy.
