That is the part that i find most incomprehensible. Rodd is that detached from the pain his shareholders are feeling that it reminds me of the dissociation we often see with politicians and the electorate. Rodd can't understand that there are people that have had to work hard for their money that are bleeding in the gutter in the wake of this debacle, he thinks every bit of criticism is a personal insult.... an attack against him!
I think that because he was lucky enough to be born into a rich family that he just doesnt understand what we are experiencing, but having said all of this I do recall Isis Communications and the CEO there, Adam Radley. He burnt through over $40 million in less than 1/3rd of the time it has taken Rodd to burn $11 million. Rodd isnt the worst CEO we could have, he has established contacts with the right people, he has got the product out there on display, and he is controlling costs well. Advertising is just an extremely tough nut to crack.........
