Pity the writer does not understand the US blood plasma market. The statement "CSL's fortunes have risen in concert with demand for immunoglobulins, also extracted from blood plasma mostly donated at its 220 or so donation centres in the US" in the article uses the word donated and as we all know, in the US, CSL pays for the blood plasma given by individuals, it is not donated.
Yes, agree, if this trial is successful, $400 is on the cards, if not, a retreat back to $200 is probably on the cards.
