G'Day BNW -Yes their is lots of examples that their is commercial gold in the tailings.
Is it an important issue ?
Well yes it is as a third party mill conducted extensive analysis using industry protocols & those where explained &
hence then it was very conclusive .
Unless the samples where doctored pre delivery ?
That's the only way imo that the parcels ran through the CIL mill could be wrong.
    OR
Their is to much emphasis given to the recent sampling in that its been taken as being absolute .
I wonder how many that read the recent tailing results took it to mean that the 10 individual samples where taken from
10 different locations from the 40,000t of tailings that are in at least two separate dumps.

As what it reads is 10 x 1kg grab samples were taken from the individual 80 t bulk sample !
Essentially all from the same location as the single 80 t sample was taken.
80t from 40,000t represents 0.2% of the tailings contained volume.
Their will logically be some very low & very high grade pockets in the existing tailings so was this 80t sample
taken from one of the low areas?

I find it very strange that any one with R.Rs experience would believe he could conclusively establish if
commercial grades of gold were in the tailings from taking one bulk sample from one location -just not plausible .
However the location this 80 t bulk sample - is NOT mentioned & the PERIOD in time the tailings where originally
processed is also important also not clarified ?
    Why would that be ?
If R.R was trying to establish or verify / conclude what current processing is losing to tailing & conducted this
exact test ,then it would add up.
    Example
O.3 G P/T average grade returned from tailings 80t bulk sample after running it through the existing gravity
plant the from 2.6 g p/t head grade plant feed ATT at 66 % SMELTED true recovery NOT concentrate recovery,
would strongly suggest what the current gravity plants current configuration post tune up to be recovering .
And thats what R.R was doing in December was it not tuning the gravity plant.

    EG plant feed 2.6 g p/t
    Recovery actual-smelt 65% = Recovery -1.71 g p/t
Hence 0.88 g p/t returns to tailings whereby its 80t bulk sampled to re-run through the plant.
So plant feed from tailings is 0.88 g p/t .
Existing Gravity plant recovery at 66 %
Return to tailings 0.3 g p/t post re running 80t -actual sample results !
Just a bit coincidental that these results just happens to match expectation with existing plant approx
true recovery over obviously being higher .

Clearly these tailing samples should have not been released to market as imo they prove conclude nothing
    whats so ever .

Here are results again 29th March 2019
80T Tailings sample program concluded in December 2018 produced 0.3 g p/t gold average.
This release represents a report on part of the programplanned.
New management has engaged an independent metallurgist, Mr. Rob Riggir to oversee this work
    .

In addition to the work that was conducted by Mr. Riggir on the processing plant in Q4 2018, he also supervised
    the selection of
, and performed some sample tests on "AN 80t SAMPLE OF TAILINGS. "
In Mr. Riggir’s report the tests resulted in an average grade of 0.3g/t gold from the ten 1 kg grab samples.
These were selected from a reprocessed stockpile of 40t ( which 80T is ) and check assays were performed in
an independent laboratory in Perth for QA/QC procedure for verification against results from the on site laboratory.

Have to be carefull how this is interpreted as an 80 t sample was stated to have been taken !
again Quote-he also supervised the selection of, and performed some sample tests on "an 80t sample of tailings. "

This work forms part of an incomplete, and ongoing assessment of the tailings which current management
    are yet to complete.

So we should be concerned though should be careful as the reality is 3 party Mill CIL results were far
    more extensive
& used industry standard protocols in their extensive testing of tailings .
Here are the two links to re read .
CIL Tests confirm outstanding high-grade results for tailings and
    https://www.asx.com.au/asx/statistics/displayAnnouncement.do?display=pdf&idsId=02091241

    Extract-From third party Mill results.
    Underground Ore Tests
8.94t of underground ore through the third-party mill & CIL recovered 257.1 grams of gold dore at an average
    grade of 28.75 g/t
and a very good recovery of 98.81%.
However, the same apples to apples test from 10.00t of underground ore recovered only 85.7 grams of gold dore
from our gravity only mill at an average grade of 8.57 g/t
.-Thats a hell of a lot of Gold going to tailings .

So if the tailing sample s were doctored then so were the Medtre level 6 samples -begins to become way to elaborate
for all bulk tonnages to have been doctored as well due to bulk sampling inconsistencies would likely arise when
    processing occurred.
    EG -Extract
A bulk sample of 8.94 wet tonnes was taken from the ROM high-grade stockpile consisting of ore from
    Mestre levels 5 & 6
and was sent to a third-party plant for testing.
The sample was diluted ore and was not selectively mined.

So imo the latest results are very ambiguous & we should be careful how much we can conclude from them as very extensive
testing of tailings has obviously occurred .

None the less the issue is NOT resolved .
Those that stand to gain from this massive CR R.I at 190 % dilution would be rubbing their hands together as they also stand to also
pick up un-allocated Rights not taken up & with all this controversy surrounding the tailings & potentially play's into their hands ATM.

    A few considerations
