Will the Carusos do a Twiggy?
There is a story in the West Australian today 15/5 about Fortescue Mining and Andrew Forrest personally making another $300m in a few hours on top of his $3b already made from FMG.
This has been attributed to investment markets now starting to take the company seriously as it nears completion. In the early days the project and directors had no credibility, however the directors couldnt care less as they have all become seriously wealthy in a little over three years.
Those who can remember back to 2003 will know the link between Allied and Fortescue. Its all based on creditibilty. No one thought Fortescue could pull it off and now maybe its Allieds turn to use actions rather than words.
