There was an interesting case over the coast at Tweed Heads last week.
The police were chasing an offender at very high speeds in their two week old top of the range BMW (cost $200,000)
The offender finally pulled over and they parked behind him on the short dry grass verge.
The BMW caught fire and despite best efforts the offenders car went up in flames well.
Apparently the User manual states that the exhaust systems on these high performance vehicles get very hot and the vehicle should never be parked in this situation.
I guess they don't read the manual.
