Also, I see no real upside to the current $A strength. A rising A$ is bad news for Aus - gold selling into o/s markets will get fewer A$$$ and although we might get our LCD TV's cheaper, in an export sense we loose and farmers will be the worst hit (I guess).
Not to say there are positive things about the current FX situation...
All IMHO of course.
